Since it's the run up to Christmas, our colour inspiration this week had to include a bit of shimmer. Gold shimmer, of course. Instead of teaming the glorious gold shade with a fresh tone, team it with something a little deeper, like a teal, for an indulgent colour inspiration.
We've said it before, and we'll say it again, gold is the most delightful colour to have on your wedding day. It is the most beautiful of wedding shades to include in your decor and as part of the bridal party outfits. Opt for a sequin fabric, or at least a shimmer, for your table cloth or table runner on your reception tables to get the theme going. This is where you can start adding other gold touchers such as tea-light holders and candles.
With the teal, you can add this into the mix by having your bridesmaid dresses in this shade. Add accents into the decor from napkins and stationery and of course, choose foliage and flowers in the same, mid-tone shade. It really is a gorgeous combination for a wedding at any time of the year, especially winter.
